All the World’s a Stage

My about page has seen a small refresh, and with that comes a new page showcasing some interesting art. Only five pieces for now, but it will be expanded over time.

I've stumbled upon rpg.actor, which is a neat little system built on top of Bluesky where you can attach a little character to your identity and store data tied to it. I cobbled together a spritesheet for my mascot, which you can see on my profile. I appeciate that it interacts with several other projects buiilt on top of Bluesky, like Streamplace and Reverie House.

I gotta say that I've always thought of Bluesky's protocol as a needless reinvention of the wheel vis-à-vis Mastodon's ActivityPub, but I see some of the vision for it now whereas before I mostly looked at it from the angle of interoperability.

My apologies for that overly technical tangent. Back to your regular scheduled content. Moerstaal, a Dutch colloquialism for mother language, is a new page that will probably only be of interest to those who can read Dutch. For now, it's a collection of Dutch language links.

I've been enjoying playing Vampire Crawlers lately, as well as Pip My Dice. The latter is a Yahtzee twist on the Balatro formula, the demo of which I already mentioned back in 2024.
