At the Special Police Reinforcement there is a rank structure to differentiate the Agents in categories. The Rank defines the Agent' status or position in the Police Force. They are as follows: Patrolman, Sergeant, Lieutenant and Captain. The higher your rank the more privileges and higher responsibilities you will have. The privilege is the access to more powerful cars and the responsibility is the time you have, to successfully achieve your missions and maintain or improve your rank (independently of this, you will always have 1'30" for each mission). The time taken for arresting a criminal will define whether you will be promoted or demoted. The promotion or demotion will always be to the rank immediately superior or inferior to your own.

On the first game, you will join the “Special Police Reinforcement” as a Cadet. From that category, you will be promoted or demoted depending on the time you take to arrest each criminal.
